Javier Salas began his career as a photographer specialized in portraits. He studied cinema in the Institute of Educational Sciences in Cantabria, Spain. He has photographed a variety of characters from the diverse worlds of cinema, music, politics, culture and sport. Due to his interest in music, he has collaborated with major record companies, as well as many important magazines in both Spain and the USA.
